Finally got to work a little more on the truck. It's running well now and I got 1 seat done. On the down side, the cab is not sitting right and the brake and clutch pedals are binding. I used the "correct" wood blocks, but will probably have to shave them down a little to make things work.
Not much will be going on for the next few months. It's harvest season and getting the corn and soybeans out takes priority. Check back in December and I should be back to work on the 63

Still waiting on paint, so I started working on the box. There are a few bad areas, and I have little bodywork experience. I guess now is the time to learn. Fabricated the first patch panel and will clean up the box and weld it on tomorrow.

Spent the evening removing all the good parts and mouse crap from the original cab. The original cab is badly rusted under the seat riser. The other cab needed a little body work, but is in much better shape overall.

Got a lot of the engine components cleaned up, painted and installed. I will have to get new brushes for the generator, otherwise everything was in good shape. Started to install the driveshafts, but I have misplaced several of the u-joint clamps. I'll have to look for them tomorrow.

The engine and transmission are installed, as is the fuel tank and lines and I started running the chassis wiring

The engine has been rebuilt. Surprisingly I didn't have to grind the crankshaft, but 2 cylinders did need sleeves due to hairline cracks. I resealed the transmission. The gears looked OK considering the abuse an unsynchronized transmission can take.
